REGISTRATION 2013-2014 INFORMATION

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY NEW FAMILIES:
New families to St. Michael and those families presently with students in St. Michael with younger siblings to register - applications will be accepted on January 27th from 9am - noon.  Please bring copies of your child's state birth certificate, social security card and baptismal certificate (copies that you can leave with us).  There is a non-refundable application fee of $150 (K-8) and $100 (Preschool) due with application.  Any students new to St. Michael registering for Grades 1-8, will need to also bring copies of their most recent report card and standardized test scores.

Any parents of students in grades 3 & up that haven't made First Reconciliation should contact Brenda Rickert


Save the date: St. Michael Summer Picnic
will be held July 26th, and 27th, with cow pie bingo on Sunday, the 28th.  We only need 3 more booth captains! Working as a captain is a great way to meet your fellow parishioners, while having a good time.  If you are interested please contact Kelly Tamme at 797-5100, or by e-mail, kellytamme@aol.com.

School Tours  For families interested in sending their children to St. Michael School, please call the office at 502-267-6155 to pre-register for an upcoming tour. Tours will be at 9:00 a.m. on:
-  Tuesday, Feb. 5
-  Wednesday, Mar. 6

As a reminder in the event of weather related issues concerning school hours:

If announcements are made that Jefferson County Catholic Schools are on a DELAYED OPENING - St. Michael will open for students (Preschool through 8th grade) to enter school at 9am with classes starting at 9:25 and morning preschool classes ending at 11:15.  Afternoon preschool classes will run 12-3pm.  The Extended School Care Program will also open at 9am.

If school is closing early due to weather, a call or text will go out to parents using our ALL CALL system, school will dismiss no earlier than 1pm.  If there is an early dismissal, the afternoon Preschool will NOT have classes.  The Extended School Care will close at 3pm.   Parents are reminded to check their text messages or listen to their voice mails prior to calling school if they show a missed a call from school when the weather is bad.  This closing information will also be posted on the website.
